One headline percentage is not a complete specification.

Check UV protection and solar heat performance as separate requirements.
Read the guide →Haze scatters light. In demanding windshield applications, lower haze can improve perceived clarity around headlights and high-contrast scenes. Evaluate physical samples under real night-driving conditions rather than relying only on a single specification.
IR rejection describes performance over a defined infrared range; TSER describes total solar energy rejected across the solar spectrum. Because test methods and wavelength ranges can differ, compare values only when the measurement method is known.
Review repeatability, optical quality, coating consistency, adhesive behavior, shrink/install characteristics, traceability, packaging capability and how specifications are verified—not only the highest advertised performance number.
